Adjustable Strop

Keep your straight razor sharp with this portable, adjustable, two-sided strop. Both sides of the strop are made from Juchtenleder, more commonly known as Russia leather, and treated with birch oil. The leather is wrapped around a frame which is attached to an ergonomic wooden handle. One side is coated with a green sharpening paste, and the other side is left untreated. This strop does not need to be anchored to a wall and is adjustable to give just the right amount of tension. By twisting the handle, a screw expands or contracts the frame, stretching or relaxing the leather. A quick adjustment gets you that ideal hammock-like feel of a hanging strop.
